Amethyst
Amethyst is a variety of quartz. Known as the "stone of spirituality and contentment". The deepest amethyst colors occur in those crystals from Uruguay, Siberia, Africa and Colorado. The most common occurrence is a medium purple color which is found in Brazil. Amethyst provides a calming effect.
