Bookends
Agate is a variegated class of chalcedony, which in historic times, was placed in water for use in cooking and/or drinking in order to dispel sickness. Petrified Wood - unique and beautifully crafted and polished into beautiful bookends to preserve its natural beauty - these would be a wonderful addition to any home. Septarian Nodules are formed from minerals deposited by groundwater in clay-like rocks. Groundwater is an import agent in both deposition and erosion of surface rocks. It can dissolve original cementing materials and deposit new ones. Sandstone is a beautiful product of Utah and Arizona. The color and design were induced by a mineral spring containing iron oxides. They have not been altered in any way - just cut into shapes and heat treated to bring out the oxidized.
